With five distinct academic units, seven degree offerings and 11 concentrations, academics at the Tennessee State University College of Agriculture (TSUAg) is nothing if not specialized.

Our comprehensive academic programs equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in today’s dynamic agricultural, consumer and environmental sectors. The TSU College of Agriculture is built upon its diverse set of undergraduate, master's level and doctoral degree offerings. Earning a degree from the College of Agriculture in agricultural science, fashion merchandising, agri-business, food and animal sciences, pre-veterinary or environmental science can springboard your career ambitions into high gear.

The TSU College of Agriculture offers a pair of Bachelor of Science degrees in either Agricultural Sciences or Human Sciences. Agriculture students can pursue concentrations in the Food and Animal Sciences, Environmental Science, Agricultural Business and Education and Biotechnology. Human Sciences students can pursue one of five concentrations in Child Development and Family Studies, Consumer Sciences Leadership, Education and Communication, Fashion Merchandising and Product Development, Dietetics or Food Service Management. 

Undergraduate Programs:


s The TSU College of Agriculture is home to five graduate degree programs, four master's level and one doctoral offering. Graduate seeking to further their knowledge through a Master's Degree can pursue one of four M.S. degrees here at TSUAg. Students can study Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural Business and Leadership and Food and Animal Sciences at the master's level. Complimenting these offerings is the overarching Ph.D. in Agricultural Science program.

The College of Agriculture is home to a dynamic learning environment with 34 state-of-the-art laboratories, smart classrooms, a trio of research "farms," even a wetlands area, right here on campus!
