Graduate Degree Programs
The graduate programs offered by the College of Business at Tennessee State University, the first business school in Nashville to earn dual accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the most prestigious accrediting body for business schools around the globe, earned by approximately only top 6% of business schools globally. The College of Business earned its initial accreditation from AACSB International in 1994. Such achievement resulted in Tennessee State University becoming not only the first university in Nashville, but also the first public Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the country, to gain dual accreditation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The MSBDA at TSU will provide students with comprehensive training in one of the fastest-growing fields. The program aims to provide and prepare students to become Specialists in Business Data Analytics.
The MSBDA program is designed for Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Information Systems Analyst, and related candidates looking to advance their professional development. The curriculum covers advanced software application tools and functions, such as descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive modeling, text and data mining, visual analytics and storytelling. The delivery method of this proposed degree program is fully online, and no in-person class attendance will be required. This is an accelerated 12-month program with 30 credit hours. |

The MBA curriculum is a broad-based management education that facilitates you to expand the knowledge and skills preparing for leadership positions in public and private companies.
The TSU Executive MBA is designed to better accommodate the needs of busy professionals. The 12-month program offers a convenient, business-friendly schedule with classes meeting on weekends and is delivered in a hybrid format consisting of a mix of in-person and online course offerings. Program participants also have the opportunity to spend 10 days studying outside the United States to broaden their understanding of global leadership. |
