Congratulations!  You've been admitted.  Now, it's time to enroll. If you are a Transfer Student with 60 credit hours or more , you will contact your academic advisor in your department/college. You are not required to attend a Transfer Orientation.  You can access the contact information for your academic advisor below.

Transfer Orientation Session (On-campus)

This comprehensive program aims to provide you with essential information and resources to ensure a smooth academic journey and successful integration into campus life.

During the orientation, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet with Academic Advisors: Connect with experienced advisors who will guide you through the course selection process, helping you tailor your academic plan to fit your goals and previous coursework.

  • Register for Courses: Gain hands-on assistance with course registration, ensuring you secure the classes you need to stay on track for your degree.

  • Engage in Informative Sessions: Attend a series of sessions covering important topics such as:

    • Financial Aid: Understand the various financial aid options available to you, including scholarships, grants, and loans, along with the application processes.
    • Navigating the myTSU Student Portal: Learn how to effectively use the myTSU portal, your hub for accessing grades, course materials, academic resources, and important announcements.
    • Fee Payment and Confirmation Processes: Receive guidance on fee payment options and deadlines to ensure your registration is confirmed without any issues.
    • Student Support Services: Discover the various resources available to you as a transfer student, including tutoring, counseling, and academic support, designed to help you thrive in your new environment.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Transfer students that have not completed college level reading, writing, and/or math courses and do not have valid ACT/SAT scores must take the ACCUPLACER Placement Test in the appropriate subject areas prior to attending a Transfer Orientation Session.
