NIH MARC Program The Bioinformatics program is supported by part of the NIH Minority Access to Research Careers program (MARC). Students accepted to the Bioinformatics concentration program can fully utilize the MARC resources, which provide Bioinformatics students with the opportunity to engage in research and computational laboratory projects.

PSC Sponsorship The Bioinformatics program is supported by Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) affiliated with Carnegie Mellon University. PSC provides access to its supercomputing resources under the MARC grant. PSC provide faculty and students with the training opportunities that allow them to participate in various of workshops and internships. |

The program benefits from the United State Department of Agriculture. Research activities conducted by some faculty members are affiliated with USDA. |
