The Bioinformatics Laboratory is part of Advanced Computation Laboratory in the TSU Interdisciplinary Graduate Engineering Research (Tiger) Institute. The laboratory provides a learning environment for TSU students, and a research environment for the TSU faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. In our bioinformatics lab., students work on hands-on projects, and faculty conduct research. The bioinformatic Lab integrates research into education.
The lab has an infrastructure for high-speed computing, access to common and specialized software, technical support for computational and bioinformatics need, and educational opportunities in bioinformatics for both students and faculty.
The lab includes molecular biology equipment, computer servers, computer workstations, storage units and various analysis software.
