Dr. Erik Schmeller

Interim Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs

Dr. Erik Schmeller is currently serving as the Interim Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement. He is also a Professor of History with over 25 years of teaching experience, 11 years of departmental university level administrative leadership, and a strong commitment to community service. Teaching experience includes early American, cross-disciplinary Post-Colonial , and Conspiracy in history courses, as well as revising and coordinating instruction of the university-wide Freshman orientation course, UNIV 1000: Service to Leadership.
