Please note that the College of Business is still operating remotely. However, academic advisement is available virtually through the COB Office of Undergraduate Studies Monday thru Thursday from 10am-12pm and 2pm-4:30pm.

Undergraduate advisement is overseen by the Office of Undergraduate Studies in the College of Business and offers professional advisors on the main campus and the Avon Williams campus to assist students with matriculation advisement.

GUIDING TIGER CUBS TO BE BIG BLUE

The College of Business Student Development Center (SDC), the “one stop” information and advisement center located in Room 305, Holland Hall, was established to enhance academic achievement and career success for business majors at Tennessee State University. The Center maintains a hands-on approach with its students and guides students through the matriculation process. The SDC provides easy access to information about College of Business policies, internships, career opportunities, professionalism, counseling, and student organizations. 

ADVISING OUR BUSINESS STUDENTS TO SHINE BRIGHT 


With the assistance of the academic advisors, students are advised on courses needed for graduation, how to organize their schedules, and the requirements for different majors and concentration areas. Transfer Students should contact the appropriate department head. Additionally, Graduation Clearances for the College of Business are handled by the College of Business Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies located on the Avon Williams campus in Suite H-408.
