Chris Manfre, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Economics and Finance in the College of Business at Tennessee State University. Dr. Manfre's experience includes serving as financial advisor and strategic consultant to domestic and international corporations. Before joining Tennessee State University, he was visiting professor at the Graziadio Business School, Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Dr. Manfre began his financial services career with Standard & Poor’s in Los Angeles and New York. Dr. Manfre holds a Laurea Magistralis from Università di Firenze, in Florence, Italy (MA equivalent). He received an MBA in finance from the Drucker School of Management and an MA in economics from Claremont Graduate University. He also received a PhD in financial economics from Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Manfre is a financial advisor and holds the Series 24, 28, 7, 63 and 66 Licenses. His research interest lies primarily in the areas of capital markets, behavioral finance and international finance. |
