Dr. Charles McCurry lead 50 College of Engineering students to attend 37^th  BEYA Conference at Baltimore. The BEYA Conference was held on Thursday February 9-11, 2023, at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Over 10,000 students, corporate, governments, military professionals, business, and industry employers joined the three days of learning, networking, celebrating excellence, and showcasing STEM career opportunities. The consortium of 15 deans of the ABET accredited HBCU engineering school was held. Dr. Lin Li, interim Dean, attended this event. The 15 ABET accredited HBCU engineering schools are: Alabama A&M University, Florida A& M University, Hampton University, Howard University, Jackson State University, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Agriculture & Technical University, Prairie View A&M University, Southern University, Tennessee State University, Tuskegee University, University of the District of Columbia, University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, Virginia State University.
