Graduate Research Assistant
Currently Pursuing a Masters of Science in Environmental Sciences with a Concentration in Plant Science at Tennessee State University
Completed Degrees:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agriculture, Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Tribhuvan University (2021)
Masters of Science (MS) in Agriculture with a concentration in Sustainability, Murray State University (2025)
Current Research Focus:
Assessing drought and heat tolerance in amaranth by evaluating physiological and growth traits under controlled greenhouse conditions. The research focuses on identifying variation among different Amaranth varieties and understanding plant responses to environmental stress to support the development of climate-resilient crops.
Favorite Plant:
Amaranth, because it is not only nutritionally rich but also highly adaptable to challenging environmental conditions such as drought and heat. What makes it even more meaningful to me is its' connection to my background in agriculture and my interest in sustainable crop production. Studying Amaranth allows me to explore how this resilient crop can contribute to food security and climate-resilient agriculture in the future.
