Undergraduate Program
Welcome to the Tennessee State University Historically Black Colleges and Universities Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP) which is funded by the National Science Foundation (Grant #HRD-0715004).
The program is designed to support the success of students who plan to pursue a college degree in one of the four STEM disciplines of:
- science,
- technology,
- engineering,
- and mathematics.
The following programs are offered:
STEM Rising Freshman Institure (five-week program)
Sophomore Research Skills Institute
Undergraduate Research Mentors
This project is a collaboration between the following areas:
College of Arts & Sciences,
College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Sciences,
Research & Sponsored Programs,
Massie Chair of Excellence,
Center of Excellence for Learning Sciences, and
School of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences.
