These programs are designed around specific courses and often include site visits, guest speakers, and cultural experiences that connect directly to what you’re learning in class.

Key Features:

  • Broader selection of destinations and disciplines

  • Collaborative model among institutions

  • Credits transfer back to TSU with pre-approval

  • Scholarships may be available through the consortium

Third-Party Provider Programs

Study abroad with trusted international partners who handle logistics and local support.

Third-party provider programs are offered through professional organizations that specialize in study abroad coordination. Providers manage housing, orientation, travel logistics, and on-site support while offering courses or internships that fit your degree plan. These programs are ideal if you’re looking for independence, flexibility, or a specific location not offered through TSU faculty-led or consortium programs.

Key Features:

  • Open to all majors and experience levels

  • Wide range of destinations and durations (2 weeks to a full semester)

  • On-site staff and structured student support

  • Opportunities for academic credit, internships, or service learning
