BIO
“"I am not a teacher but an awakener." ~Robert Frost
Alana Thompson is a native Nashvillian with a Master’s degree from Tennessee State University. She didn’t begin her undergraduate work until she was 30 years old, which makes her a great example of the fact that it’s never too late to get educated. Her professional interests are in the areas of British Literature, Folklore, American Popular Culture, and pedagogy. She is an avid blogger and dabbles in the fine arts and photography when she isn’t in the classroom.
