Help Us Aid Promising and Needy Engineering Students
Many at Tennessee State University will remember the Fall of 2013 as the time when changes were instituted in assessing the qualifications for PLUS Loans for college students.
(PLUS Loans are awarded through a long standing federally-sponsored program which often bridges small gaps between a student’s total financial aid package and the total cost of college. In many cases the loans are relatively small, but they have been critical in helping the current students of our alma mater meet the rising expense of going to TSU.)
This year the TSU Engineering Alumni Association is proud to announce a partnership with
TSU College of Engineering Alumni Roosevelt Luster III (BSEE 1997)
to establish
“The Luster Family EAA Engineering Student Emergency Aid Fund”
to aid promising and needy engineering professionals currently enrolled in the TSU College of Engineering, so they will know that TSU engineering alums are there to help bridge the gap.
Please support the TSUEAA in our effort (1) to match the initial Luster Family contribution to this fund, and then (2) to maintain an on-going source of crowd-funding to support TSU College of Engineering students.
