Research Misconduct

Research misconduct undermines the integrity and credibility of scientific inquiry. It includes practices such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in proposing, conducting, or reporting research. These unethical behaviors compromise the quality of research, erode public trust, and can lead to severe consequences for individuals and the institution.

At Tennessee State University, we are committed to promoting a culture of integrity in all research activities. Our policies and procedures ensure that allegations of misconduct are addressed promptly, fairly, and transparently, in compliance with federal regulations. We provide resources and training to help researchers understand their responsibilities and maintain high ethical standards in their work.
