TSU Television

TSU Television, the on-campus television station, is developed, produced and operated by the students of Tennessee State University, primarily in the Communications Department, a part of the College of Liberal Arts. TSU-TV is seen in the dorms and other buildings of Tennessee State University, located on the west side of Nashville, Tennessee.

Television instructional facilities are constantly being upgraded. The Performing Arts Center, home to the department, houses a modern television facility. While incorporating current essential capabilities, the complex houses technologically advanced equipment to support the television area. The department wants to make certain that students are introduced to the cutting edge technology in their classroom and experiential endeavors.

State-of-the-Art Facility

TSU Television News students work in a large TV studio with versitle sets and a multi-level digital control room with modern 4K equipment. Students can edit digital video using Adobe's Creative Cloud software including Adobe Premeire video editing applications. A faculty advisor oversees content and production.
