The Writing Hub
Strengthening Graduate Writing for Success
Success in graduate school is largely dependent on the utilization of higher-order thinking skills. Effective analytical writing ability, which is especially required of graduate students, demands such utilization. Many graduate students, both master's and doctoral, struggle with writing. As a result, universities, across the United States, have implemented support programs and writing hubs to ameliorate students' writing skills. The Writing Hub is designed to improve students' writing across genres. The desired intent of this activity will be achieved by providing face-to-face consultations to students regarding academic assignments and professional projects.
"The Writing Hub services have been really helpful to improve my writing skills. I want to say thank you to the facilitators because they have been patient and kind in guiding me through this time."Tatiana Zabaleta Salazar |

A writing group is a collection of students with a group leader who meet occasionally to provide assistance, networking and community to its members. Members can, and are encouraged to, also schedule one-on-one time with the Writing Hub facilitators for additional assistance.
