Beginning for the 2024-2025 application cycle, the program will begin accepting applications from July 19th through September 30th annually.
THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAM IS ACCREDITED BY THE ACCREDITATION COUNCIL FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EDUCATION (ACOTE) OF THE AMERICAN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION (AOTA), LOCATED AT 7501 WISCONSIN AVENUE, SUITE 510E BETHESDA, MD 20814-6116. ACOTE’S TELEPHONE NUMBER, C/O AOTA, IS (301) 652-AOTA(2682) ext. 2914, AND ITS WEB ADDRESS IS https://acoteonline.org/. Based on the on-site visit and ACOTE Board review, the Board voted to award full accreditation for 10 years. The next reaffirmation of accreditation on-site visit will be during the 2026/2027 academic year.

NOTE: Students can obtain their undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, here at TSU, and then enter the graduate program in Occupational Therapy. For students who received their undergraduate degree from another university, please click on "Admission Requirements". You can file your application while completing your last three of the nine prerequisite courses, however, these three courses must be completed by the beginning of the semester you enter the MOT program.
COVID-19 Vaccinations: A COVID-19 vaccination may be a requirement for training at some affiliated clinical sites. Some affiliated clinical sites will make religious or medical exemptions for the vaccine, however, some may not. Refusal of the vaccine could result in your inability to successfully complete the requirements of this program. Additionally, refusal of the vaccine may preclude employment.
