WEGO Bus Passes

WEGO Bus Pass Program

Affordable, Accessible Transportation for the TSU Community

At Tennessee State University, we’re committed to removing barriers to education and opportunity — and that includes transportation. Through our partnership with the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), TSU offers the WEGO Bus Pass Program, giving students, faculty, and staff unlimited access to local and regional transit at a deeply reduced rate.

For just $30 per year, eligible participants can enjoy unlimited rides on all WEGO services, including buses and the commuter rail. The pass makes it easier to get to class, work, internships, community events, and even medical appointments — without the costs and hassles of driving.

How It Works

  • Annual Pass Price: $30 (TSU subsidizes the cost to make it affordable.)

  • Coverage: Unlimited rides on WEGO buses, commuter rail, and the WEGO Star/QuickTicket platforms

  • Purpose: To support workforce development, internship access, and equitable transportation options
