Experiential Learning
"Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood."
~Helen Keller
Learning is a "hands-on" approach to education that is personally relevant and connected to students' academic learning objectives. Tennessee State University students are encouraged to participate in experiences such as:
- internships,
- cooperative education (co-op),
- job shadowing,
- study abroad,
- service learning,
- and undergraduate research.
The career development process helps students make meaning from their experiences and education, leading to greater personal satisfaction and professional success.
In order to document internship appointments, please complete the appropriate survey. Data will be captured from the Spring 2018 to Spring 2020.
