Kamrul Hasan

Assistant Professor

Dr. Kamrul Hasan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). His research focuses on Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) security, Trustworthy AI, and AI-driven cybersecurity, spanning computer networks, software-enabled network security, and machine learning–empowered automation for secure and resilient systems. Dr. Hasan has served as PI/Co-PI in different externally funded projects supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), United State Department of Transportation (USDOT), Department of War (DoW), and Tennesse Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD). He has authored or co-authored around 50 peer-reviewed journals and conference publications, one book chapter, and holds one U.S. patent.
