Dr. Hui Li possesses a diverse skill set and a broad range of expertise, making her a versatile and adaptable professional. She received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Tennessee State University, where she specialized in molecular biology and biotechnology. Her technical expertise has been crucial to the success of several research projects including the development of a target sequencing approach to characterize genome-modified potato, a single-cell approach for tomato pollen proteome analysis, the analysis of the common bean nutraceutical-related pathway, and the soil microbial profiling in identifying nitrogen-fixing rhizobium. As a technical support professional, Dr. Li has shown great capability to oversee complex laboratory operations, ensuring that all lab activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. She has played an essential role in managing lab's budget, ensuring that the lab operates within its budget constraints. In addition, she has mentored numerous graduate and undergraduate students, helping them to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in research. Moreover, she was involved in community service, where she teaches high school teachers and students in the series of biotech labs and techniques. Her passion for research and dedication to her field have made her an invaluable member of the scientific community. |
