Naghabushana-Nayidu

Having masters in genetics and plant breeding and expertise with molecular biology in
PhD has helped to accomplish molecular biology works in sunflower, rice, Arabidopsis,
canola, tomato, groundnut and safflower. Working in tissue culture to cloning, molecular
breeding and transcriptomics during postdoctoral, research associate and assistant professor
positions helped for contributing to good publications in the reputed journals. Trained for
different molecular biology tools not only in India but in China, US and Canada helped to
build a strong research path in the carrier. Future work will be concentrating on improving the
oil quality in oil seed crops like safflower and soybean using CRISPR/CAS 9 system.
