TSU Radio

University Student-run Radio

With an Urban format, TSU Radio plays the Hottest Hip Hop and R&B and offers other music and information programming on the weekends.

TSU Radio was selected as Black College Radio (BCR) Station of the Year for 2002 and 2004 and Southeast Journalism Conference (SEJC) College Radio Station of the Year in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

A student staff of majors and non-majors manage the station in the areas of programming, promotions, production, news, sports and sales/marketing. TSU Radio features about fifty different student announcers who are assigned weekly air shifts. Radio activities include live sports programming and other remote broadcasts.
