Community Service Scholar Program
Living the motto of 'Think.Work.Serve.'!
The Community Service Scholars Program is a group of elite students who are dedicated to connecting to the Metro Nashville community through service projects, and learning the importance of civically engaging with those around you. Students in the program embody the instituion motto of 'Think. Work. Serve.' while working on their professional development, civic engagement, and leadership skills.
Want to join the Community Service Scholars Program?
What are the qualifications to join the Community Service Scholar Program?
- You must be a full-time student enrolled in a minimum of 12 earned credit hours
- Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Complete an application and be accepted into the program
What are the requirements once accepted into the Community Service Scholars Program?
- Attend a mandatory orientation
- Complete a minimum of sixty (60) hours of service per semester
- Maintain a monthly tracking log for service hours
- Attend a minimum of two (2) workshops/trainings each semster
- Complete one (1) Summer of Service Project
- Remain consecutively enrolled in the program
