Joseph L. Perry, Director, Ed.D.
Joseph L. Perry served as a Tennessee State University (TSU) Police Officer from 1978 until 2010 when he was named as the first Director of Sustainability in the Facilities Management Department. Prior to joining TSU Facilities Department in 2010, Perry served as the first Director of the TSU Man Center and successfully implemented the first Academic Boot Camp and Excel-O-Rate Program for the University. He was awarded Bachelor of Science degree from TSU in Agronomy (Plant-Science) (1974) and earned his Master of Education from TSU in 1995, and a Specialist in Education in 2008. Perry graduate from TSU for the fourth time in 2010 with a Doctor in Education (EdD.) in Curriculum and Instruction.
Eric L. Foster, Assistant Director, B.S.
Eric L. Foster was hired as Tennessee State University (TSU) Waste Management Supervisor in 2002. Foster's responsibilities included directly supervising 8 employee in the Waste Management Department in Facilities Management. Foster also has responsibility of operating and managing the recycling department, which includes recycling of cardboard, paper, electronic and glass.
Prior to joining the TSU staff Foster worked at Middle Tennessee State University as a facilities manager, his responsibilities included directly managing seven supervisors. He has a B.S. in Arts & Science with concentration in Sociology & Psychology from Tennessee State University (2004).
