Ornamental nursery production is a constantly changing and adapting industry. Extension services and programs are structured to keep producers abreast of new research and production methods. Weed management, insect identification, propagation methods, and improved plant selections are current areas of emphasis.

Education about these nursery production topics is provided through workshop presentations, social media updates, production site visits, newsletters, and a regularly updated website.
