Ways to Earn College Credit - Prior Learning Assessment

Military image jpg  Military Credit and Service

PLA credit for military training is one of the most widely used and accepted forms of PLA.  The Armed Forces of the United States provides military personnel with a great variety of educational opportunities through formal service, school training programs and off duty educational activities.

Each branch of the military service has developed methods of documenting military training that the American Council on Education (ACE) has evaluated for college credit.

All public Tennessee colleges and universities will utilize the ACE transcripts, when available in making decisions regarding military credit.
