How We Serve You
The TSU Bursar Office is responsible to ensure that student accounts are accurate and paid in a timely manner. The Office assists in maintaining a single record of school-related charges and payments for tuition, room, board, fees, and other miscellaneous items (i.e. deposits, supplemental examinations, etc.). The student-related focus of the TSU Bursar Office is to help students remain within their educational pursuits amid regulatory requirements that are in place to protect us all.
Installment Plans
Enrollment is available online through MyTSU. Select the Student Tab, then select Account Detail to view your available payment plan options.
Tuition and Fees
The University’s tuition and fees vary depending on your course of study or major, your residence status, and the courses you’re taking. At the link below, you can access the current year’s fee schedules, departmental fees, course fees, and incidental costs associated with your attendance. Additional explanations and definitions are provided to assist in understanding your term balance.
Are You Due a Refund?
Actively participate in your refund process to ensure accurate delivery each term. Additional refund information is available here .
If you do not receive financial aid, you still may receive money back from the University in the future. We encourage students to sign up for direct deposits to receive eligible refunds most efficiently and quickly. Information about direct deposit is available here.

Payment Plans
You may pay your student account balance in full by the due date or choose to enroll in the Tennessee State University Installment Payment Plan and pay your balance in monthly installments. Students who choose the Payment Plan must enroll in the Installment Payment Plan each semester. Enrollment does not automatically carry over from one semester to the next.

Navigating your student account
Accessing and understanding your student account is an important part of managing your educational expenses. Your student account provides information about your charges, payments, financial aid, account balance, and other applicable fees. Be sure to review your account regularly to ensure that your charges and payments are accurate and to stay informed about important payment deadlines.

Managing your authorized users
Authorized Users are individuals you have given permission to access specific information on your student account, such as account balances, charges, payments, and billing statements. You can add, update, or remove an Authorized User through your student account. Be sure to keep your Authorized User information current and only provide access to individuals you trust. Please note that granting access to an Authorized User does not give that individual access to your student records or academic information unless separately authorized under applicable University policies.
