How to Set Your Browser's Homepage to TSU

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the customize icon that looks like three vertical dots in the upper right corner
  3. Click “Settings”
  4. Scroll to bottom and look for the “On startup” section
  5. Select “Open a specific page or set of pages”
  6. Select “Set pages” or “Add a new page”
  7. Type in the URL of the Page you want to open at startup. In this case, of course, it’s “https://www.tnstate.edu

Firefox

  1. On Mozilla Firefox
  2. Press the “Alt” key on your keyboard and while holding it, press “T” on your keyboard
  3. Select “Options” on the menu that appears.
  4. In the section “General”, look for “Home page”. Insert the URL of a website into the “Home page” field. In this case, of course, it’s “https://www.tnstate.edu
  5. Then, look for the section “When Firefox starts” and click the button for “Show your home page”

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer,
  2. Select the Tools button (which looks like a round gear) , and select Internet options.
  3. On the General tab, under Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. Of course, in this case, it’s: “https://www.tnstate.edu
  4. Select Apply, and then select OK. The next time you open a new browsing session or window (or select the Home button ), your home pages will be loaded automatically.
