The TSU Nursing Program is fully-accredited:

- The Baccalaureate degree in nursing and the Master's degree in nursing at Tennessee State University are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, Georgia 30326, Phone: 404-975-5000.
- Tennessee State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, specialist in education, and doctoral degrees. Tennessee State University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
