Program Compliance
Workloads
- Graduate assistants are required to work 20 work hours per week. Graduate assistants can only hold one graduate assistantship at a time.
Assistantship Requirements
Graduate assistants are expected to abide by the following requirements:
- Unconditional acceptance to the graduate school and degree program.
- Prior to the start of the semester, students must participate in an orientation session.
- GAs are expected to perform their duties in person.
- A minimum enrollment of 9 credit hours for the Fall/Spring semesters or 6 credit hours for the Summer term is required for GAs.
- Attendance at monthly mentoring sessions is mandatory for GAs.
- GAs must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0.
- GAs must submit signed contract.
- GAs are required to work 20 clock hours per week in person.
