Joel Jolayemi, Ph.D., is a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Tennessee State University. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio, U.S.A. and his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has taught in many universities and colleges in Nigeria, South Africa, and U.S. He is a winner of several academic awards. He has written and successfully implemented many funded research projects. Professor Jolayemi's current areas of active research include mathematical modeling and optimization, decision analysis, project scheduling, supply chain network optimization, applications of analytic hierarchy process and group-management techniques in strategic planning and management, and total quality management. He has published nothing less than 43 journal articles, most of them in prestigious international journals. Professor Jolayemi is a member of several professional associations. He is the Editor-In-Chief of Annals of Management. He is also on the Editorial Board of a number of reputable international journals.
