Environmental Science Club (ESC)
Environmental Science Club at TSU

The Environmental Science Club (ESC) at Tennessee State University is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and hands-on learning on campus and in the community. Open to undergraduate and graduate students from environmental science, agriculture, biology, chemistry, and related fields, as well as interested faculty and staff, the club provides a welcoming space to connect with others who care about the environment. Through guest speakers, outdoor activities, volunteer events, and awareness campaigns focused on issues like waste reduction and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), ESC helps members build leadership skills, deepen their scientific understanding, and make a positive impact at TSU and beyond.

Mission:  The mission of the Environmental Science Club (ESC) at Tennessee State University is to enhance environmental education, awareness, and community engagement by empowering students to lead creative and innovative initiatives that foster positive, sustainable change on the TSU campus and in the greater Nashville community.

Vision: The vision of the Environmental Science Club (ESC) is to cultivate a campus culture where environmental stewardship is a shared value, inspiring TSU students, faculty, and staff to make informed, sustainable decisions and to serve as leaders who promote resilient, environmentally conscious communities locally, nationally, and globally.
