Adebayo Oyebade, PhD
Adebayo Oyebade is a military/diplomatic historian with special interest in the United States’ strategic interest in Africa during World War II. He is currently working on a book project which explores America’s diplomatic and military engagement in West Africa during the war. His co-authored book, Hot Spot: Sub-Saharan Africa, published by Greenwood Press examines major post-independence conflicts and conflict areas in Africa. Apart from numerous scholarly journal articles and book chapters, he is the author, editor, and co-editor of ten books on African history. He has been a recipient of many scholarly awards including the Fulbright.
