Making the choice in my family to go on to college – the Bachelor’s degree was for my family, the Master’s degree was for my career, this doctorate is for every black and brown child who has dared to dream!
My grandparents seeing me walk across the stage.
Being able to travel all over presenting on research that is near and dear to me!
Being able to teach undergraduate and graduate students in a field that I’m passionate about!
