 The TSU First-Generation Student's Pledge to Success

1. I pledge to continue to be a trailblazer for myself, my family, and my community.
2. I pledge to believe in my ability to succeed.
3. I pledge to ask for help when I am unsure or need clearer directions.
4. I pledge to work with my First-Generation Specialists to guide me through graduation.
5. I pledge to finish the journey that I have begun.
6. I pledge to graduate from college.
7. I pledge to continue to define and refine my life purpose, and most of all
8. I pledge to be a life-long learner.
