Enhancing the Library’s Holdings

Supporting Academic Programs Leading to Careers in Which Blacks are Underrepresented

AlvinUsing U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, a recent study by Dr. Nathan Hardy, Assistant Professor for Marketing at Neumann University, reported that blacks are underrepresented in management positions in the workplace as well as in jobs that require S.T.E.M. education. The library will purchase databases, e-books and e-journals that support programs that lead to careers in the fields of Agricultural Sciences (including Agribusiness, Agricultural Leadership, Environment, Food Science and Pre-Veterinary), Business Administration (including Hospitality Management and Supply Chain Management), Health Administration / Health Sciences, and Engineering.
